Carcass: glued & doweled rabbet joints, reinforced with steel brackets

Back panel: attached with countersunk screws to carcass

 Finish:

Natural Wood: Hand finished with highly abrasion-resistant linseed, sunflower and jojoba oil, and with alkyd resin modified with natural oil.
Drawer Faces: Water-borne lacquer

All finishes are free of wood preservatives, toxic heavy metals, formaldehyde, and phthalate-based plasticizers, and they fulfill the European EN71-3 standard, which means they are safe to be used on children’s toys
